The students really appreciated the music and now have aspiring dreams to be in a competition like this! Thank you again to our fabulous chaperones that came along!

We have been working on informational writing in class. Students have learned what an index, glossary, captions, subtitles and many more pieces of informational writing are.
Also in our guided reading groups, a group VOLUNTARILY made a cause & effect chart. Can you say PROUD TEACHER?!?!? The Hands on Museum put on an excellent Math and Science day at Eberwhite. My students left feeling very excited and passionate about both mathematics and the science fields.
Our music teacher at Eberwhite is phenomenal!! If you have not attended one of his assemblies, you must! The MLK Assembly was incredible and our fourth and fifth graders did a wonderful job performing. I don't think there was a dry eye in the whole audience.
We meet with our K-Buddies once a week, and do lots of fun things to get to know each other. We have made snowflakes together, taught them how to tie their shoes, and now we are making a collaborative book together. It is incredible the partnership we have with Mrs. Glei's class!
During writing, each student wrote about their favorite moment of 2015 and presented their writing at the party.
We also voted on our favorite things of 2015 from restaurants, games to sports teams. The students were paired up, and created posters to present to the class. Lastly, the wonderful parents put on fun winter activities for the students to do! Thanks again to everyone that helped out! |
